An employee of a local discount store was arrested for stealing cash from her employer.
 
Jazmine King, 18, of the 700 block of Cotton Street in Shreveport, was arrested for theft by Caddo Sheriff's Detective Alan Davidson of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.King was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.

King is accused of taking cash from her register at least 20 times while working at Wal-Mart on Pines Road. The thefts occurred over several weeks. The store lost over $6,000 because of the thefts.
