South Caddo Parish - Caddo Sheriff's patrol deputies arrested a Shreveport man on drug charges after they stopped his vehicle on Mansfield Road.

Barney Noel Holt III, 46, of the 400 block of Willow Ridge Road, was traveling northbound when Deputy J.S. Hendrix noticed Holt's vehicle had only one headlight. Upon further investigation, the deputy found that Holt was driving under suspension. A search of Holt's Kia turned up suspected methamphetamine (ice), needles, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia.

Holt was booked into CCC on charges of possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with one headlight.

North Caddo Parish - Bossier City resident Katherine S. Freeman was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on drug charges after a Caddo deputy found suspected meth in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Freeman, 44, of the 900 block of McDade St., was traveling on Hwy. One south of Oil City when Deputy Timothy Koob stopped her Pontiac Sunfire for improper lane use. During the stop, Freeman began acting nervously. Koob obtained permission to search her vehicle and found plastic baggies that contained multiple cotton balls which tested positive for methamphetamine. He also found a syringe and other drug paraphernalia.

Freeman was arrested for possession of schedule II narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
