A 72-year-old Oil City man was arrested Wednesday for molesting a 6-year-old juvenile, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Malcolm D. Ethredge, of the 100 block of South Dickey Street, was picked up on an arrest warrant obtained by Caddo Sheriff's Deputy Gloria Evans. Ethredge was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for molestation of a juvenile. His bond was set at $100,000.

Ethredge is accused of improperly touching the 6-year-old girl, who was left in his care overnight. The offense occurred in the later part of 2009.

The case remains under investigation.
