Four arrested for burglary, property damage

Caddo Sheriff's patrol deputies arrested four people for breaking into a north Caddo Parish cabin and damaging property valued at more than $25,000.

Anthony Farris, 22, James Krogol, 21, Elizabeth Carte, 37, and Heather Entwistle, 18, all of Shreveport, were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for simple burglary, criminal property damage, and trespassing.

Sheriff's Cpl. Ricky York and Deputy Kenneth Bonin said this past Friday the four went to the camp located off Louisiana Hwy. 1 near KSLA Road and used their Ford Expedition to go "mud riding" on the property without permission. While there, they broke into the house, left mud in two bedrooms and on the beds, ate food from the cabinets and refrigerator, drank the homeowner's alcohol, drove and damaged two four-wheelers, and damaged and sank a $25,000 Kobata tractor in the mud while trying to get their own vehicle unstuck.

A caretaker who arrived to check on the property saw the suspects as they tried to run.All four returned to the property after deputies were called. The suspects were wearing clothing taken from the house at the time of their arrests.
