ID thieves buy $10,000 in pizza with stolen info

Caddo sheriff's investigators arrested two men for using stolen credit card information to purchase $10,000 in food and beverages from Dominoes Pizza, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Francis Gallagher, 21, and Taylor Powell, 17, are facing identity theft charges for using stolen information obtained from over 84 different credit card accounts across the United States. Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring, who arrested the pair, said they obtained the credit card information from a Tennessee man they played on-line games with.

Between August of 2009 and January 2010, Gallagher and Powell used the account information without permission to charge $10,000 in pizza, sandwiches, chicken wings, and soft drinks at Dominoes. Most of the charges were made by Gallagher. The items were delivered, sometimes more than $100 worth at a time, to their homes.

Gallagher, whose address is 6700 Jefferson Paige Road, Lot 324, is currently in the Shreveport City Jail awaiting transfer to the Caddo Correctional Center. Powell, of 6201 Bert Kouns, Lot 550, is being held at CCC.

The case remains under investigation, and at least one more arrest is expected.
