Sisters arrested for using stolen credit card

A scheme to get cash back by making fraudulent purchases with a stolen credit card has landed two sisters in jail.
Lakeshia Robinson, who is a manager at a local restaurant, and her sister, Kimberly Robinson, were arrested Monday following an investigation by the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.

Caddo Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring, who arrested the pair, said Lakeshia Robinson used her position at the restaurant to process a stolen credit card number for her sister.Kimberly Robinson placed five separate food orders and used the stolen credit card number to pay the tab. The sisters then added $100 tips to each order, which were also paid with the stolen card number.

Lakeshia Robinson gave the stolen credit card number, which was written on paper, to another employee, Kimberly Weeks, to process through her register. Lakeshia Robinson took the tip money from Weeks’ cash drawer. Lakeshia Robinson, Kimberly Robinson, and Weeks then split the cash.

Lakeshia Robinson, 28, of the 1700 block of Hollywood, Kimberly L. Robinson, 26, of the 1800 block of Hollywood, and Weeks, 21, of Bethany were all booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for unauthorized use of an access card.
