Shreveporter Robin Denise Williams was arrested on Monday for cashing counterfeit checks at a local liquor store, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Williams, 25, of the 1600 block of Snow Street, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for forgery following an investigation by Sheriff's Detective Yomeka Evans.

Williams was seen on video surveillance cashing counterfeit checks totaling more than $1,500. She admitted splitting the money with the person who printed the checks.
