A convenience store clerk was arrested today for withdrawing funds from the bank accounts of her customers after they left their cards behind at the store.

Candance Cooper, 21, of the 3300 block of Darien in Shreveport, was arrested on two counts of unauthorized use of an access card. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center by Caddo Sheriff''s Detective Frank Edmondson, who investigated the case.

Cooper was an employee at the Circle K on Line Avenue at Pierremont Road where she used the customers' cards to withdraw money from the store ATM. In both cases, she had memorized the customers' pin numbers and used the debit cards after the customers left the cards behind following separate transactions.
