Caddo Sheriff's deputies arrested a Fort Worth, Texas, woman after she beat a man with a glass mug, sending him to the hospital with lacerations.

Celeste Horton, 32, was arrested for aggravated second-degree battery. She was booked into Caddo Correctional Center by Det. Terry Richardson.

The incident occurred on Thursday at 10490 Colworth Place in south Caddo Parish. Horton and the victim, Robert Scott, had been drinking when they got into an argument. Horton struck Scott with a cowboy boot and a heavy glass mug. She continued hit him with the mug, even after it shattered.

Scott went to a local hospital for treatment of a fractured cheek bone and multiple lacerations to his head, face, and arms. He was later released from the hospital.
