Several horses are on the auction block at the Caddo Sheriff's Office after being unclaimed or abandoned by their owners.

The Sheriff's Office will accept sealed bids on the animals from 8 a.m. until noon Wednesday, March 16, at the 4910 North Market Street substation.

Up for sale are a paint gelding, sorrel gelding, mare, thoroughbred mare, and a miniature stud horse. All of the animals will be available for viewing at the substation on the morning of the auction.
