An employee of a local property management company was arrested by Caddo sheriff's deputies for stealing over $100,000 from company accounts, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Patricia A. Roberson, 55, of Bastrop, is accused of stealing $103,166 while employed as an executive assistant for Professional Park Management. Roberson diverted company funds into a personal Pay Pal account she opened to commit the fraud.
Caddo Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring investigated the case and said Roberson began embezzling money in 2009. She was fired in early 2010 and fled the state. Herring located Roberson in Houston this past Thursday. She was arrested the same day after she was convinced to return to Caddo Parish.
Roberson was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for felony theft.
