A Shreveport man was arrested by Caddo deputies today for improper sexual conduct with juveniles, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Lawrence Brown, 57, of the 2300 block of Highland, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of molestation of a juvenile.

Brown has been under investigation since September after a woman reported that two of her family members, ages 12 and 13, were victimized by Brown. Brown was a neighbor and friend of the family.

The Caddo Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at Brown's residence today and seized computer equipment, a large number of home-made DVDs, and other materials. A forensic exam of one hard drive confirmed the presence of child pornography. The images did not involve the 12- or 13-year-old complainants.

Brown was arrested by Caddo Sheriff's Detectives Robert Greer and Mickey McDaniel.

More charges in this case are expected.
