Shreveporter tries to sell stolen merchandise to undercover detectives

Caddo sheriff's deputies arrested a man for stealing a competition bow and arrow set and attempting to sell it to undercover detectives, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

The items, valued at $3,500, were stolen from the victim's truck in the Dixie Garden neighborhood on March 29. Caddo detectives developed James Tyler Hall as a suspect in the case and learned that Hall was trying to sell the bow for $300. A meeting was set up with Hall where he attempted to sell the items to two Caddo detectives posing as potential buyers.

Hall, 19, of Shreveport, was arrested by Detectives Andy Scoggins and Jason Morgan and was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for simple burglary.
