CSO on lookout for cat burglars

The Caddo Sheriff's Office has obtained warrants for the arrests of two people who broke into a house, gathered up the goods, then slipped away undetected by the four people sleeping inside, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Sheriff's Detective Kay Ward obtained warrants for the arrests of Roxan Rose Grogen, 21, and Brian Kunkel, 25. The warrants are for unauthorized use of an access card / felony theft. Grogen's bond has been set at $100,000 and Kunkel's at $50,000.

The charge stems from the couple's use of a credit card that was taken during a residential burglary on April 2 in the 4300 block of Pruiett Drive. It's believed that Grogen and Kunkel stole a purse, wallet, keys, credit card and other items out of an unlocked car, and then used the keys to let themselves into the residence where a family was asleep inside. They took two rifles, a shotgun, clothing, and a Play Station entertainment system from inside the home.

Shortly after the break-in, Grogen and Kunkel tried to use the stolen credit card at an area discount store to purchase $1,100 in goods. When the card was rejected, they tried again at another store and were successful in purchasing $300 worth of items.

Grogen is described as a white female, 5'1, 105 lbs., with brown hair. Kunkel is a white male, 6'4, 255 lbs., with dark brown hair. Anyone with information that can help detectives locate them is asked to contact Ward at 681-0700.
