Caddo Sheriff's detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with the June 28 attempted break-in at a Citizen's Bank ATM, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Donald Ray Reed, 20, of the 3100 block of Montana in Shreveport, turned himself in to authorities on Friday after he was identified from bank security video aired on local news stations.

Charles Ray Taylor, 28, of the 1200 block of North Pine in Shreveport, was arrested today at Caddo Correctional Center where he is being held on unrelated drug charges.

Reed, Taylor, and one other suspect were captured on video trying to break into the ATM at 5755 North Market Street. The suspects were unable to get into the machine but caused extensive damage.

Detective Michael Price arrested both Reed and Taylor for property damage over $4,000.

The investigation is continuing, and at least one additional arrest is expected.
