Caddo Sheriff's detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 19-year-old LaTerrence D. Nelson, who's wanted for the armed robbery of a woman in north Shreveport this past week.

Just after 2 a.m. on July 25, the woman arrived home in the 1000 block of Wilton Place. She was approached by a black male while still in her vehicle. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her purse, keys and cell phone. The suspect then ran to a nearby dark, small to midsize car, entered the passenger side of the vehicle, and left the area.

Nelson is 5'5 to 5'7, 160 lbs., has a medium to dark complexion, and was last known to have braided hair.
