Caddo sheriff's detectives arrested a Ferriday man this morning for sending improper text messages to a 14-year-old girl, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

James E. Ola Jr., 35, was temporarily living with the girl's family in Caddo Parish while he started a new job in the area. Ola quickly established a relationship with the girl, and the two began sending sexually explicit text messages to each other while in the same house.  

Ola was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for indecent behavior with a juvenile following an investigation by Lt. Sam Hall of the Youth Services Division.
