Sheriff Steve Prator and Chief Willie Shaw announced that the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit conducted an operation to attempt to curtail the possession, use and distribution of illegal drugs at the State Fair of Louisiana.   On Wednesday, November 2, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit conducted an evening operation where agents made numerous drug- related arrests. The majority of the arrests were carnival employees. 

The operation was extremely successful, netting a total of 15 arrests for various offenses. Below are the arrests made during this operation:

William Sunday, 43, El Monte, CA, Dist Sch II;
Donald Spinelli, 45, Houston, TX, Possession of Sch II;
Julian Carmillo, 21, Dallas TX, Possession of Sch I;
Jeffery Milner, 39, Twin Falls, ID, Possession of Sch I with intent to distribute (WID);
Regina Scott, 19, Las Vegas, NV, Interfering;
Richard Sanchez, 20, Shreveport, Possession of Sch I, 2nd offense;
Aron Moore, 18, Coushatta, Battery on a Police Officer;
Michael Penny, 19, Baton Rouge, Possession of Sch II;
Rick Moise, 54, Shreveport, Interfering;
Jeremy Sanford, 36, Shreveport, Possession of Sch II;
Charles Allen, 48, Possession of Sch I WID;
Jason Brannon, 19, Shreveport, Possession Sch I WID;
Troy Welch, 23, Shreveport, Possession of Sch I WID;
Carrie Allison, 25, Shreveport, Possession of Sch I.
