Matthew Broussard, 22, of Hosston, was arrested for crimes against children on Thursday by the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Broussard was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for indecent behavior with a juvenile, attempted felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and possession of schedule I and II narcotics.

Agents said Broussard chatted on-line with an undercover agent who he thought was an underage female. During the chats, he showed her pornographic pictures, used sexually explicit language, and expressed a desire to meet her. Broussard was arrested in Shreveport at a location agreed upon by the two. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession marijuana and Oxycodone pills.
