A man wanted for a shooting on Post Oak Place earlier this month was arrested by Caddo deputies on Tuesday, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Lloyd Carr, 50, of the 6700 block of North Lakeshore, was arrested on a warrant for aggravated battery. Bond on the warrant was set at $250,000.
Carr was arrested by Detective Michael Price and other deputies after he was spotted in a vehicle at a gas station on Hwy. 173. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
Carr was being sought for the March 17 shooting of Cornelius Johnson in the 1200 block of Post Oak Place in Shreveport. Johnson was visiting the home and got into a physical altercation with Carr, who had done work on a vehicle belonging to someone at the residence. Johnson was shot in the lower groin during the altercation. Carr fled the scene after the shooting, according to Det. Russell Hicks, who obtained the arrest warrant.
