Caddo SO to host Red River Law Enforcement Day

Recreational boaters can meet deputies with the Caddo Sheriff’sMarine Unit and get valuable safety information during Red River Law Enforcement Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, April 14.
The event will be held at the Sheriff’s Marine Substation on Red River, located at 857 East Stoner Avenue, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Visitors can tour the area’s only floating substation, receive boating and water safety information, have their boats checked by deputies for safety and compliance with state and local laws, and view demonstrations by the CPSO Dive Team.There will also be inflatable jump houses and hot dogs for the kids.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Red River Waterway Commission are also participating in the event.
