A Caddo sheriff's investigation has led to the arrests of several men for stealing vehicles and selling them for scrap.

Caddo Detective Donnie Laney said the men are accused of stealing a 1982 Isuzu truck and a 1982 Ford Escort from a field off Buffalo Road in Rodessa. The vehicles were towed to a scrap yard in Atlanta, Texas, where they were sold.

Arrested were Joe Turner, 56, of the 1700 block of Boykin Drive in Shreveport; Michael Wayne Foster, 44, of the 18000 block of Mira-Atlanta Road in Ida; and Leon Hill, 50, of Vivian.

All were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on two counts of felony theft.
