The Caddo Sheriff’s Office will host a crime prevention program for rural communities from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Vivian National Guard Armory, announced Sheriff Steve Prator.

Experts will address issues and answers questions about subjects including identity theft, financial crimes, computer crimes, personal safety, and Caddo Parish laws.

Guest speaker for the event will be Caddo District Judge Craig Marcotte.Vivian Mayor Stephen Taylor, Vivian Police Chief Ryan Nelson, and deputies with the Caddo Sheriff’s Office will also participate.

The program is open to the public, and there is no charge.
