A cashier at a local seafood restaurant was arrested for felony theft for stealing money out of the business's cash register.

Ashley Paige, 18, of the 400 block of West 69th Street, is accused of stealing $1,500 over an extended period of time from Brother's Seafood Restaurant.

Paige was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center by Caddo Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.
