Caddo-Shreveport TF arrests five on drug charges

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force executed three search warrants on Tuesday resulting in five felony arrests and the seizure of drugs, guns, and money, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw.

During a search warrant at 3052 Fulton Street, agents seized 414 doses of Ecstasy ($16,560 value); 1,241 grams of marijuana ($12,410 value); and $2,779 in cash.  Agents made two arrests at the residence: Cedric Washington, 33, and Aundre Young, 31.  Both were charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (Ecstasy) and possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (marijuana).

Agents then executed a search warrant at 359 B East 77th Street.  During the warrant, agents seized a loaded .45 caliber handgun, 2.7 ($270 value) grams of crack cocaine, 12.7 grams of marijuana ($127 value) and $1,300 cash.  Laymone Davis, 43, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (marijuana), possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (crack cocaine), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  Further investigation revealed that Davis also had an outstanding city warrant.

A third warrant was executed at 433 Chickasaw Trail with assistance from the DEA Task Force.   While executing the warrant, agents made contact inside the residence with Donald Smith, 20, and Joseph Winslow, 20. During a search, agents seized approximately 3,168 grams of suspected marijuana ($31,680 value), $494 in cash, and a loaded hand gun. Both Smith and Winslow were arrested for possession with intent to distribute schedule I (marijuana) and illegal possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance. Both were booked into the City Jail. More arrests are pending further investigation.
