Caddo Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fatality crash Tuesday night on LA Hwy. 1 near Blanchard.

Just after 10:30 p.m., John Donnelly, 45, was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when his Honda 600 CBR entered the median and hit a traffic sign. Donnelly was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to LSUHSC where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation by Cpl. James Willis of the Caddo Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
