The Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force has received complaints from residents regarding phone scams involving local banks.

Victims are receiving telephone calls with a recorded message indicating their debit card is no longer valid. The message then continues to request additional account information.

If you receive such a call it is recommended that you disconnect immediately and provide no information. If you have provided information, contact your financial institution immediately.
