Brothers booked for illegal acts with juveniles
Seven girls between the ages of 13 and 16 have now come forward to bring charges against Trent Morgan for illegal acts involving juveniles, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Over the past two weeks and most recently yesterday, Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall charged Morgan with four more counts of indecent behavior with juveniles after minor girls said Morgan sent numerous nude pictures of himself to their cell phones. One of the girls also said she had sex with Morgan, resulting in yet another charge of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile being filed against Morgan.
Morgan was first arrested on February 14 for offenses that had occurred since October of 2013. Since then he has been charged with six counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, four counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and one count each of pornography involving juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a minor, resisting an officer, and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. His total bond now stands at $764,238.
Detectives also arrested Morgan’s brother, Zachary Calhoun, on Thursday and charged him with similar crimes. During the investigation, Detective James Moore learned that Calhoun had sex with a 16-year-old, underage female on two occasions.
Calhoun, 20, of the 2700 Block of Stanberry Drive in Shreveport, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. His bond was set at $10,000. Calhoun turned himself in and was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center, where his brother is also being held.
