A Mooringsport man who was arrested this past month for possessing child pornography is now facing additional charges, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Detectives continued their investigation of Richard Elmore Jr., 35, after finding images of child pornography on Elmore’s home computer. As a result of their investigation, detectives identified a female victim who said she had a sexual relationship with Elmore when she was 12 and he was 29.

Sheriff’s Detective James Moore obtained an arrest warrant for Elmore and charged him with the additional count of molestation of a juvenile at Caddo Correctional Center where Elmore is currently being held. Bond was set at $100,000.
