An investigation into the illegal sale of alcohol to underage persons resulted in four summonses being issued, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

On Wednesday and Thursday, September 24 and 25, the Sheriff’s Youth Services Division checked 28 businesses for compliance with state laws and parish ordinances. Four clerks were issued summonses for the unlawful sale of alcohol to persons under 21.

Those cited were:

- Jennifer Brown King, 39, of North Waskom, Texas, cited at State Line Liquor in Greenwood. King was also written a summons for not having an ABO card.

- Cortney Nicole Williams, 20, of Waskom, Texas, cited at Lick Skillet Liquor in Bethany.

- Constance Montoya, 35, of Mooringsport, cited at Longwood General Store, in Mooringsport; and

 - Jamie Cowart, 52, of Rodessa, cited at Magnolia Club House #1 in Rodessa.
