A clerk at a local convenience store was jailed for using a stolen credit card number to make 110 purchases at the store where she worked.

Caddo Sheriff's Detective Frank Edmondson arrested Erica Mason, 21, of the 1100 block of Crofton, and charged her with unauthorized use of an access card.

In a two-week period, Mason charged $10,758 in merchandise for herself and friend using the stolen number. The store manager noticed the excessive use of the card number and notified the card holder, who was unaware of the charges.

The case remains under investigation and more arrests are expected.
