Caddo Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday evening, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

James Swearengin, 36, of Rodessa, was driving a Honda motorcycle east on Trees City Road around 5:30 p.m. when he went into a curve and lost control. Swearengin hit a traffic sign before going airborne and flipping the motorcycle.  He died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Caddo Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
