A Shreveport man who was arrested for committing a vehicle burglary in Blanchard this past week now faces three more burglary charges, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Damon Wing, 19, of the 8200 block of Paula Kay, was first arrested on Friday for simple burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile after a break-in in the 7600 block of Millwood. Several items, including wedding rings, a rifle, and a scope, were stolen from a GMC pickup. Wing was arrested by Detective Chris Daniel.
After a follow-up interview by Detective Matt Purgerson, Wing was also charged with the following offenses:
Burglary in the 8300 block of East Downs on January 5 where a $500 chainsaw was taken from an unlocked shop;
Burglary in the 7400 block of Millwood on January 7 where a four-wheeler was pushed to the road from an unlocked shop. The four-wheeler was abandoned when it wouldn’t start; and
Burglary in the 8000 block of Choctaw Lane on January 13 where a pistol was stolen from an unlocked truck.
