Caddo Sheriff's deputies responded to an accident with injuries this morning on Hwy. 1 south near the Caddo-Bossier Port.

CPSO Patrol Sgt. Carl Henderson said a Dodge pickup was traveling southbound around 7:30 a.m. when its driver turned into the Port in front of a northbound Silverado truck. 

The driver of the Dodge was identified as Brittany Motley, 29, of Keithville. Also in the vehicle were Jared Berry, 26, of Keithville, and three juveniles, ages 7, 9, and 11. All were taken to University Health for treatment.

The driver of the Silverado truck was identified as Elizabeth Ross, no age available, of Coushatta. She was taken to Willis-Knighton Pierremont for treatment.

The accident is under investigation by the CPSO Traffic Safety Unit.
