Caddo Sheriff's Regional Training Academy to graduate 21 on Monday

Graduation exercises for the 40th basic training class of the Caddo Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will take place at 4 p.m. Monday, November 21, at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue.  Sheriff Steve Prator will be the guest speaker.

Five agencies will be represented when graduates take the oath of office, receive their badges, and participate in a special ceremony where family and friends assist them with pinning on their badges for the first time.

Class participants received 360 hours or more of peace officer training in areas including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice.

Graduates of the Academy are:   Cory Bourn and Joseph Bourn (brothers), Ryan Chapman, Brandon Davis, David Esquivel, Josh Greenwalt, Craig Harville, Ronald Herndon, Charles Mejia, Brian Riley, Andrew Smith, and Janella Williams, Caddo Sheriff’s Office; Kevin Caldwell, Anthony Hay, and Richard Powell, Red River Sheriff’s Office; Rashonda Evans and Javarrea Pouncy, Desoto Sheriff’s Office; David Deshautelle, Sabine Sheriff’s Office; Cody Olliff, Dwayne Rice and Kelvin Samuel, Natchitoches Sheriff’s Office.
