The Caddo Sheriff's Office hopes the one-year anniversary of Darrian Jiles’ death will bring new leads in the case, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
“Someone out there has information about this case, and it’s past time for them to come forward,” Prator said. “If you have any information about this young man that can help detectives, we ask that you give us or Crime Stoppers a call. You can remain anonymous.”
Jiles’ body was discovered in a burning Impala at Walden Ferry Road and Elysian Fields in Greenwood just after 9:30 p.m. on November 20, 2015. Neighbors called 911 after hearing an explosion in the area. Jiles was 21 at the time of his death.
No arrests have been made in the case. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Matt Purgurson at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
