Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington will face off in a friendly challenge this Thursday to raise money while ringing the Red Kettle bell for the Salvation Army.
Caddo deputies will be at the new Kroger Marketplace at 9484 Ellerbe Road from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., while Sheriff Prator will personally be ringing the bell from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and again from 4-6 p.m. at the same location.
“There are many Red Kettle Reasons to give this holiday season, and while this friendly competition is a good one, the best reason is because you know you’ll be helping the Salvation Army feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and change lives,” Sheriff Prator said.
Sheriff Prator is asking everyone to stop by and visit, and bring some change “to help bring about change in Caddo and Bossier parishes.”
