Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator has announced the promotion of Kevin Stewart to the rank of sergeant. Stewart will be recognized during a ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, at the Re-Entry Facility on Forum Drive.

Stewart joined the Sheriff’s Office as a corrections deputy in March 1996. He was transferred to the Patrol Division in 2002, and with his promotion he will serve as a supervisor in Patrol.

Also during Tuesday’s ceremony, several employees will receive recognition for their years of service with the Caddo Sheriff’s Office. They are Justin Dunn, Joey Lee, and Jeremy Thompson, five years; Matt Foster, Tangela Stickmon, Justin McDonnell, and Chris Ardoin, 10 years; Chris Daniel, Frank Launer, and Douglass Smith, 15 years; and Diana Crawford and Alma Lee, 20 years.
