A Shreveport man has been arrested for robbing a woman this past February, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

LaRoderick Davis, 27, turned himself in on an arrest warrant obtained by Caddo Sheriff’s Det. Andy Scoggins.

Davis was arrested for robbing his ex-girlfriend on February 13 when she arrived at work on North Market Street in a friend’s car. Davis is accused of grabbing the woman by the neck and pulling her from the car. He then took her purse and left. The purse was located in the street later but her cell phone and credit card were missing.

Davis was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for simple robbery. Bond was set at $100,000.
