The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a body was located earlier this morning in Wallace Lake.

Deputies with the Sheriff's Office Marine Unit and agents with LA Wildlife and Fisheries located the male around 8:30 a.m. while searching for a boater who was reported missing over the weekend. Deputies and agents have searched the lake every day since the man was reported missing and his boat was found overturned Friday, Feb. 24.

The body was turned over to the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office for positive identification. No further information is available.
