A Keithville man has been arrested for sex crimes involving juveniles, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Freddie Allen Yates, 70, of the 2600 block of Barron Road, was arrested at his residence today on a warrant obtained by Sheriff’s Detective Larry Pierce.

Pierce began investigating complaints against Yates in November. Yates was accused of inappropriately touching two females, ages four and eight. During the investigation, Pierce identified four victims under the age of eight who alleged that Yates touched them or attempted to touch them in a sexually inappropriate manner between 2014-2018.

Yates was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on three counts of sexual battery and one count of attempted sexual battery. His bond has been set at $700,000.
