A substitute teacher at Green Oaks High School was arrested by the Caddo Sheriff's Office on Friday for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Jordano Maxie, 25, of the 1600 block of Fullerton in Shreveport, was issued a misdemeanor summons following an investigation by Sgt. Mickey McDaniel of the Sheriff's Youth Services Division.

Maxie is accused of smoking marijuana in the presence of a 16-year-old boy and allowing the boy to smoke marijuana while he was an overnight guest at Maxie's home. The boy was a student in one of Maxie's classes at Green Oaks and spent the night at Maxie's home without his parents' knowledge.
