To help protect citizens from identity theft, AARP and the Caddo Parish Sheriff‘s Office are teaming up to provide a safe location to shred your personal documents free of charge.

It will take place from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, September 21, at Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport. Citizens can bring unwanted documents containing sensitive information and have them destroyed on-site by a professional shredding company. Each person is limited to two bags of paper.
