Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator announced today that Rick Farris has been named commander of the Caddo Correctional Center. Farris will replace Commander Bobby Wyche who is retiring in September after 19 years with the Sheriff’s Office.

Farris has been employed by the Sheriff’s Office for 28 years. He served as a captain at the jail for 16 of those years. He has also served as a patrol deputy, Internal Affairs sergeant, and a deputy in the Organized Crime Division.

Prator also announced the promotion of Pamiko Pineset to lieutenant in Corrections. Pineset joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1996 and has worked as a Corrections deputy, court bailiff, Training Academy instructor, and Corrections sergeant.
