Two people died in a crash on Hwy. 169 this evening, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
The crash was reported just after 5 p.m. in the 11000 block of Hwy. 169. Sgt. Rodney Spikes said the driver of a Honda Accord was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the opposing lane. The Accord struck an oncoming Toyota Scion IA driven by a young female.
The driver of the Accord was ejected from her vehicle. Both drivers died at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicles.
The crash remains under investigation by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Patrol Division. Identifications of those involved will be released by the Caddo Parish Coroner.
