A Shreveport man was arrested on drug charges following an investigation by the DEA Task Force, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Sean Loston, Jr., 21, was arrested March 4 following a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Sherwood Road. Agents seized approximately 500 Xanax tablets, one pound of marijuana, a Glock model 17 handgun, and $2,000 in cash.

Loston was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm with CDS, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Xanax.

The DEA Task Force includes deputies and officers from Caddo, Bossier, and Desoto parish sheriff’s offices, Shreveport Police, Louisiana State Police, and the DEA. Assisting in the arrest were the Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol Division, Narcotics, and K-9 units.
