President Joe Biden has authorized a Major Disaster Declaration to aid in the recovery of individuals and communities who suffered loss during the winter storm from February 11-19, 2021.

The declaration makes available federal aid to help residents and businesses in affected areas, including Caddo Parish. FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program (IHP) provides financial and direct services to eligible individuals and households affected by a disaster, who have uninsured or underinsured necessary expenses and serious needs.
