SHREVEPORT, La. – A teenager is in jail after posting a photo with a handgun on social media, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

On Monday, September 27, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Detective Ray Saunders was made aware of the social media post. In another photo posted under the same account, the teen is seen flashing gang signs.

The teen was taken into custody on Friday. He was booked into the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center and charged with illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
