Caddo Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday tonight on Mansfield Road, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., patrol deputies were notified of the crash that occurred in the 11000 block of Mansfield south of Fountainbleau Road in Keithville. Dontavius  Alexander, 25, was driving a BMW 750Li northbound in the southbound lane when he collided with two southbound vehicles. One of the southbound vehicles overturned and caught fire. The sole occupant of the vehicle was deceased at the scene. The second southbound vehicle contained two occupants. Both received minor injuries and went to the hospital by private vehicle. Alexander received moderate injuries and was taken to Ochsner  LSU Health by ambulance, according to Sheriff's Lt. James Houston.

Alexander was arrested for vehicular homicide, driving the wrong way on a highway, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
