Sheriff Steve Prator swore in 13 new deputies to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, January 19. The ceremony was held in the courtroom of Government Plaza at 505 Travis Street in Shreveport.

Those sworn in are Marlene Davis, Gwendolyn Mason, Kolin Baylor, Sheundra Murphy, Nicholas Johnson, Andrea Spencer, Maquis Loveless, Alisha Scott, Christopher Willis, Byron Pool, Bobby Horton, Roshunte Simmons, and Kathy Patterson.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is working hard to recruit new faces. 

Applicants 18 years or older can apply. In addition, there are openings for food services clerks, licensed practical nurses, accountants, part-time paramedics, and security deputies. Those interested should visit caddosheriff.org to get information on qualifications, benefits, and how to apply.
